Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at Foresthill Road and Moshiron Drive
PLACER COUNTY, CA (September 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Foresthill Road and Moshiron Drive in Placer County.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 12:41 p.m.
According to CHP, a pickup truck and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in the Foresthill area. The two crashed at the intersection of Foresthill Road and Moshiron Drive.
Motorcycle Rider and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Todd Valley community. The motorcyclist ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car sustained any injuries or if they stayed following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Foresthill and Moshiron to shut down after the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
