At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Orange Freeway Friday
Anaheim, CA (October 10, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route 57, also known as Orange Freeway, on October 8.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a Ford Fusion collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of the highway in Anaheim. The accident took place near the Katella Avenue offramp.
Shortly after 10:20 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. The CHP log confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the injured party and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

Officials later mentioned the other driver involved in the incident fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the crash on State Route 57 in Anaheim.
