1 Seriously Injured in Linden Hit-and-Run Crash at Comstock and Cox Roads
LINDEN, CA (October 11, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash at Comstock Road and Cox Road in Linden.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Monday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 6:37 a.m.
The incident began when a gray Chevrolet pickup truck was trying to make a turn in Linden. For an unknown reason, the Chevrolet collided with two more vehicles.
CHP described the other cars as a gray Mazda sedan and a gray Honda CR-V. All three crashed at the intersection of East Comstock and Cox roads.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Comstock and Cox roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Linden hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
