Pedestrian Badly Hurt in Collision at Spain at 3rd Street Tuesday
Sonoma, CA (October 20, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Spain at 3rd Street Tuesday morning.
The Sonoma Index-Tribune reported a male party was walking his dog on Spain Street at about 10 a.m. When the man approached the area near 3rd Street West, a vehicle struck his dog. Officials said the pedestrian just turned left out of the Vallejo Home when the collision happened.

Authorities confirmed the dog sadly died as a result of the crash. Meanwhile, the pedestrian reportedly sustained major head injuries in the accident.
According to the article published online, a helicopter arrived at the location. The air ambulance rushed the injured pedestrian to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate liability in the pedestrian accident at Spain and 3rd Street.
