Multi-Vehicle Collision on Riverside Freeway Wednesday
Riverside, CA (November 12, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 91, also known as Riverside Freeway.
On November 10, Wednesday, multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the freeway at Van Buren Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol group reported the wreck involved three or more vehicles.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 5:50 p.m. First responders found two cars–a white Hyundai sedan, and a black Mercedes; disabled near the center divider of Riverside (91) Freeway.
Medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The name and age of the injured party remained undisclosed.

According to the CHP dispatch, a third vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to work at this time to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
