Pedestrian Injured in Arden-Arcade Hit-and-Run at Howe and Enterprise
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (November 16, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Howe Avenue and Enterprise Drive in Arden-Arcade.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place late Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the collision on November 14 at about 5:39 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Arden-Arcade. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Enterprise Drive.
Driver Hits Victim, Flees Scene
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the suspect did not stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area. They described the car as a silver sedan.
Officers forced the intersection of Howe and Enterprise to shut down following the collision. The cause of the Arden-Arcade hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
