Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near Lucky 7 Casino Saturday
Smith River, CA (November 16, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Highway 101 on November 13.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual on the Smith River highway. The collision took place in the area near Lucky 7 Casino and Hotel.
CHP logged the incident around 12:59 a.m. Saturday
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to the person lying on the ground. Paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transported him to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Officials said the motorist involved in the collision fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the name and location of the suspect.
Further investigation on the pedestrian accident on Highway 101 in Smith River is underway.
