1 Seriously Injured Middletown Crash on Highway 175 Near Casa Grande Lane
LAKE COUNTY, CA (November 19, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 175 in Middletown.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Friday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 3:57 p.m.
CHP determined that two vehicles collided head-on near Middletown in Lake County. For an unknown reason, they crashed on Highway 175 near Casa Grande Lane.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a green Chevrolet 1500 and a white sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Highway 175 to shut down near Casa Grande following the wreck.
The cause of the Middletown crash is still under investigation.
