Bicyclist Injured After Collision at Airbase Drive and Watt Avenue Sunday
North Highlands, CA (November 30, 2021) – A bicycle rider suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Airbase Drive and Watt Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck the bicyclist at the North Highlands intersection. Officials briefly described the car involved in the wreck as a gray Nissan 350z.
Shortly after 9:52 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the cyclist found lying on the ground. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the man suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The name of the patient, and the extent of their injuries remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned the driver of the Nissan fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
