Guadalupe Almaguer, 18, Killed in Arvin Crash at Sunset and Tejon
ARVIN, CA (December 14, 2021) – Guadalupe Almaguer was killed after a car crash at Sunset Boulevard and Tejon Highway in Arvin.
The coroner’s office identified the 18-year-old Arvin man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place earlier this month.
The incident happened when Guadalupe Almaguer was riding as a passenger in a vehicle which collided with another in Arvin.
1 Injured in Wreck
A California Highway Patrol dispatch described the cars as a white Ford Mustang and silver Chevy pickup with a trailer. The two crashed at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Tejon Highway.
Guadalupe Almaguer died at the scene of the crash. The Bakersfield Californian and Kern Golden Empire wrote that the accident occurred on December 10 shortly after 3:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, CHP added that another person ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Officers forced the area of Sunset and Tejon to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the Arvin crash is still under investigation.
