1 Seriously Injured in Anaheim Crash on 5 Freeway Near 91 Freeway
ANAHEIM, CA (December 19, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on the 5 Freeway near the 91 Freeway in Anaheim.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place early Sunday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:35 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Anaheim. They crashed on the northbound 5 Freeway, just south of the 91 Freeway.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Both vehicles rolled over as a result of the collision. CHP described one of the cars involved as a dark colored Toyota 4Runner.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Anaheim crash is still under investigation.
