At Least 1 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Beach Boulevard Saturday
Garden Grove, CA (December 22, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on State Route Highway 22 on December 18.
Preliminary investigation revealed multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the highway near Beach Boulevard offramp. Officials described some automobiles involved in the wreck as a Toyota Prius, a white Ford F15, a Nissan Altima, a Honda Odyssey, and a Dodge Charger.
Shortly after 1:27 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
The CHP log mentioned one or more motorists involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to gather information on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the car accident on State Route 22 in Garden Grove is underway.
