At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Grand Avenue Onramp Monday
Chino, CA (January 10, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly car accident that occurred Monday on State Route 71, also known as Chino Valley Freeway.
Our sources indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway, and completely drove off the highway. The car came to a rest in the area near the Grand Avenue onramp.
CHP logged the horrible crash at approximately 12:05 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found a woman curled up in the ditch. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the female party. Despite life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Preliminary investigation revealed the woman was an occupant in the car the drifted off Chino Valley Freeway.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly car crash on State Route 71 in Chino.
