Nickolas Jaynes, 34, Killed in Grand Terrace Crash on Interstate 215 Freeway
GRAND TERRACE, CA (January 13, 2022) – Nickolas Jaynes was killed after a motorcycle crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway in Grand Terrace.
The coroner’s office identified the 34-year-old Menifee man as one of the victims in the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident began when Nickolas Brendon Jaynes was riding a motorcycle south on the Interstate 215 Freeway in Grand Terrace. A 2013 blue Honda Fit was traveling in the same direction at the time.
For an unknown reason, the car swerved to the left. The California Highway Patrol said in the process, the Honda slammed into Nickolas Jaynes and another motorcyclist.
Car Hits 2 Motorcycles
The three parties crashed at Barton Board. Both Nickolas Jaynes and the other rider sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel rushed the patients to local hospitals for treatment. Deputies affirmed that that Nickolas Jaynes died at the Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The Fontana Herald News wrote that the accident occurred on January 11 at about 7:49 a.m. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the 42-year-old Redlands man driving the car ended up hurt upon impact.
