Lydia Aronce, 66, Killed in Hayward Pedestrian Crash Near Jackson and Tarman
HAYWARD, CA (January 13, 2022) – Lydia Aronce was killed after a pedestrian crash near Jackson Street and Tarman Avenue in Hayward.
Police identified the 66-year-old Hayward woman as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on New Year’s Day.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck Lydia Aronce for an unknown reason in Hayward. The driver hit her near the intersection of Jackson Street and Tarman Avenue.

Police said Lydia Aronce ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found her down on the ground.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The East Bay Times wrote that the collision occurred on January 1 shortly before 6:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stayed at the site after hitting the victim and cooperated with the officers. The cause of the Hayward pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
