1 Injured in South San Francisco Crash at Grand and Airport
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 19, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a crash at Grand Avenue and Airport Boulevard in South San Francisco.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:15 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in South San Francisco. They crashed at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Airport Boulevard.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 101. They found one person who complained of pain to their nose as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Grand and Airport to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the South San Francisco crash is still under investigation.
