2 Pickup Trucks Crash on Jackson Road (Highway 16)
SLOUGHOUSE, Calif. (Feb. 8, 2022) — A Sloughouse head-on crash happened Tuesday afternoon on Jackson Road also known as Highway 16 at Grant Line Road in Sacramento County.
The collision happened about 12:50 p.m. on Feb. 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded to the scene where they located the driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck in the roadway and a driver in another pickup truck towing an empty utility trailer down an embankment.
Police requested Animal Control to respond and take a dog from the Ford pickup truck. The driver of the pickup suffered major injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the person by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
Police issued a SigAlert due to the crash blocking all lanes of the intersection.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from Jackson Road after the Sloughouse crash.
