Cyclist Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Milton and Cantel Way Sunday
North Highlands, CA (February 10, 2022) – A bicycle rider suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Milton and Cantel Way.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection in North Highlands. Per CHP log, the victim was riding a bicycle near the crossing of Milton and Cantel.
Shortly after 6:08 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the cyclist found lying on the ground. At this time, the name of the patient and the extent of their trauma have not been discussed thus far.
Authorities later confirmed the vehicle fled the scene following the collision. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation is ongoing on the bicycle accident that happened at Milton and Cantel Way in North Highlands.
