1 Hospitalized After Crash Near Wells Road Wednesday
Ventura, CA (March 9, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route 126 Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual in the eastbound side of SR-126. The collision took place just west of Wells Road in Ventura.

Earlier reports indicated after the crash, the pedestrian ended up lying in the middle of the roadway. Rescue teams arrived at the site shortly after 8:41 p.m. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to the pedestrian, then later decided to transfer the patient to the hospital. The name of the injured party, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed pending confirmation.’
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to determine liability in the pedestrian accident. Further investigation is ongoing on the crash on State Route 126 in Ventura.
