Kellie Content, 31, Killed in Stanislaus County Crash at Patterson and Bentley
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (March 13, 2022) – Kellie Content was killed after a car crash at Patterson and Bentley roads in Stanislaus County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 31-year-old Modesto woman as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Kellie Content was driving a 2017 Volkswagen west on Patterson Road, approaching Bently Road, in Stanislaus County.
At the same time, a 2007 Honda was going north on Bentley and a 2018 Chevrolet was heading east on Patterson. For an unknown reason, the Honda ran a stop sign at the intersection.
Multiple Cars Collide
Its driver, 56-year-old Modesto resident Ruth Rancano, went directly into the path of the Chevrolet. In the process, she hit the right side of the Chevrolet.
Both vehicles spun out of control northeast and slammed into the Volkswagen. The Volkswagen rolled over and came to a rest with the other two cars off the road.
Kellie Content and Ruth Rancano died at the scene of the crash. The Modesto Bee wrote that the accident occurred at about 2:25 p.m. between Riverbank and Oakdale.
The passenger in the Volkswagen and the motorist in the Chevrolet sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
