2 Badly Injured in Fontana Crash on 210 Freeway and Sierra Avenue
FONTANA, CA (March 22, 2022) – Two were badly injured after a car crash on the 210 Freeway and Sierra Avenue in Fontana.
According to an article published by the Fontana Herald News, the accident took place late Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:39 a.m.
The incident happened on March 19 when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Fontana. They crashed on the Sierra Avenue and the Route 210 Freeway overpass.
Police described the cars as a 1997 Cadillac Catera, a 2016 Toyota Rav4 and a 2000 Lexus RX. One of them rolled over due to the impact of the collision.
Multiple Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two drivers who sustained moderate injuries as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel took both patients to local hospitals for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, the third motorist ended up unharmed. Police forced the area of Sierra Avenue and the Route 210 Freeway overpass to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Fontana crash is still under investigation.
