1 Hospitalized After Collision on Harry Bridges Boulevard
Wilmington, CA (March 30, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Harry Bridges Boulevard Tuesday.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a semi trailer collided with another vehicle in the westbound side of Harry Bridges. The collision took place in the 1330 block of the boulevard near Harbor Freeway.
Earlier reports indicated one person, believed to be a 30-year-old female, ended up trapped in the wreckage. Responding firefighters worked extensively to free the victim. After the successful extrication process, paramedics rushed the patient to a hospital where she was listed in critical condition. The name of the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Authorities added a second person sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The 30-year-old male patient received treatment at the scene and apparently declined hospitalization.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the accident on Harry Bridges Boulevard in Wilmington.
