Ethan Carroll, 23, Seriously Injured in San Miguel Crash on River Road
SAN MIGUEL, CA (April 2, 2022) – Ethan Carroll was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash on River Road in San Miguel.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 23-year-old San Miguel man as the victim of the wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Ethan Carroll was riding a motorcycle on River Road in San Miguel. At the same time, a Honda Civic was turning left from Verde Place onto River.
CHP the Honda stopped for an oncoming car and in the process went directly into the path of the rider. The right side of the bike collided with the front of the Civic.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Ethan Carroll ended up ejected from his motorcycle into the intersection as a result of the crash. He sustained major injuries due to the impact of the collision.
Paramedics rushed the motorcyclist to the Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton for treatment. The Tribune wrote that the accident occurred at about 5:30 p.m.
The driver of the Honda, 21-year-old San Miguel resident Micah Foster, did not sustain any wound. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of River Road to shut down at Verde Place following the wreck.
The San Miguel crash is still under investigation.
