2 Hospitalized After Collision Near Old Chittenden Road
Watsonville, CA (April 9, 2022) – Henry Dalrymple, and Armando Valencia suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 129.
The Pajaronian News reported 28-year-old Dalrymple was behind the wheel of a 2014 Honda Odyssey heading west on SR-129. When the Odyssey approached the area near Old Chittenden Road, it crashed head-on into a 2016 Nissan Sentra traveling east on the highway.
After the collision, an oncoming 1992 Acura Integra was unable to avoid the wreckage. The Integra, driven by 54-year-old Armando Valencia, slammed into the disabled Honda.
The catastrophic incident took place on April 6 at about 4:20 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived, they found the driver of the Sentra lifeless. Paramedics pronounced the 57-year-old motorist dead.
Authorities added the other drivers, Henry Dalrymple and Armando Valencia, both sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. A helicopter transported both patients to Natividad Medical Center for further treatment.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the unfortunate event on Highway 129 in Watsonville.
