Pedestrian Injured in Valencia Crash on Dickason Drive Near High School
VALENCIA, CA (April 22, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Dickason Drive near a high school in Valencia.
According to an article published by the Hometown Station, the accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the collision at around 7:40 a.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the Valencia neighborhood. The driver hit the person in the 27000 block of Dickason Drive.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Valencia High School. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced a stretch of Dickason Drive to shut down following the collision.
The cause of the Valencia pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
