2 Seriously Injured in Crash at Santo Road and Tierrasanta Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 10, 2022) – Two were seriously injured after a car crash at Santo Road and Tierrasanta Boulevard in Tierrasanta.
According to an article published by the FOX 5 News, the accident took place on Monday. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 11 a.m.
The incident happened on May 9 when two cars collided for an unknown reason in the Tierrasanta neighborhood of San Diego.
2 Cars Collide
The vehicles crashed at the intersection of Santo Road and Tierrasanta Boulevard. One of them obtained visible damage to its front end, windshield and the driver’s side and passenger’s side doors upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, east of Interstate 15 and south of state Route 52. Two people sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed them to a hospital where they described one patient as a critical trauma case. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Santo Road and Tierrasanta Boulevard to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
