Rider Hospitalized After Collision Near Andrews Street
Dairyville, CA (June 4, 2022) – Bradley Mitchell Nugent, a 37-year-old man, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 99E.
The Red Bluff Daily News reported Nugent was riding a 1987 Harley Davidson leaving Andrews Street, and heading south onto SR-99E. According to the article published online, Nugent entered the highway directly in front of a 2002 Ford Mustang. The southbound Mustang struck the motorcyclist as he merged into traffic.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the motorcyclist found lying on the ground. Due to the condition of the injured party, medical personnel decided to transfer Bradley Mitchell Nugent to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital for further treatment. Additional details on the condition of the patient remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver of the Mustang–23-year-old Baylee Dean Smith, appeared unharmed after the crash. The driver stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine liability in the traffic accident on State Route 99E in Dairyville.
