3 Injured in Santa Barbara County Crash at Clark Avenue and Telephone Road
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA (July 1, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a crash at Clark Avenue and Telephone Road in Santa Barbara County.
According to The Santa Maria Times and Noozhawk News, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:50 p.m.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near the areas of Orcutt and Santa Maria.
2 Cars Collide
The cars, a Honda and a pickup truck, crashed near the intersection of East Clark Avenue and Telephone Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Two of them sustained moderate injuries while the third survived with minor injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed all three patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the corner of Clark and Telephone to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Santa Barbara County crash is still under investigation.
