At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Ponderosa Road
Pinon Hills, CA (July 1, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 138 Friday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided on the highway in Ponderosa Road. Officials later on described the automobiles involved in the violent crash–a Toyota Corolla, and a dump truck from United Rentals.

Shortly after 6:44 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal crash on State Route 138 in Pinon Hills.
