Passenger Dies in 2-Car Collision Near Rancheria Road
Bakersfield, CA (July 4, 2022) – Elizabeth Dunn, an 85-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 178.
On June 13, Monday, two vehicles collided on SR-178 just east of Rancheria Road. The Bakersfield.com published an article online reporting Dunn was a passenger in one of the cars involved in the violent crash.

Emergency crews responded to the accident scene shortly after 1:28 p.m. Per local news source, responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to a female passenger. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died. The coroner’s office confirmed the identity of the fatal victim as Elizabeth Dunn, of Kernville.
Meanwhile, pending confirmation, officers continue to withhold information on the conditions of the two drivers involved in the unfortunate event.
