1 Killed, 4 Hurt in Collision at Juniper and South Highland
Fontana, CA (July 11, 2022) – One person died, and several others suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Juniper and South Highland Avenue.
The Fontana Herald News reported two vehicles collided at the intersection in Fontana on July 8, Friday. Officials mentioned the crash involved a silver Honda Accord, and a black GMC pickup.
According to the article published online, the Accord attempted to make a westbound turn onto South Highland from Juniper. At about the same time, the GMC also drove through the intersection heading east on South Highland. The two cars crashed into each other around 4:33 p.m.
Fatal Car Accident in Fontana
Emergency crews arrived at the location and rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. Rescue teams reportedly found a back passenger in the Honda unconscious. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Authorities added two passenger in the Honda, and two other passengers in the GMC all sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the people hurt, and their conditions at this time have not been revealed thus far.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the unfortunate event that happened at Juniper and South Highland Avenue.
