5 Injured in Santa Ana Crash at Bristol Street and 1st Street
SANTA ANA, CA (July 16, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash at Bristol Street and 1st Street in Santa Ana.
The Orange County Fire Authority first logged the accident late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:16 p.m.
The incident happened when six vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Santa Ana. The cars crashed at the intersection of North Bristol Street and West 1st Street.
Multiple Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon freed the trapped occupants from the wreckage. They assessed a total of seven people following the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed five patients to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Bristol and 1st streets to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Santa Ana crash is still under investigation.
