Man Falls From Car, Fatally Hit by Vehicle Near Camino Pablo Offramp
Orinda, CA (July 16, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 24 Friday night, the Mercury News reported.
Our sources indicated an Infinity sedan was heading east on SR-24 around 11:07 p.m. For reasons still unclear, the right front passenger partially extended himself outside the vehicle. The article published online mentioned the passenger ended up falling from the moving vehicle.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Highway 24 in Orinda
When the person landed in the traffic lanes of the freeway, another passing vehicle run over him. The collision resulted in fatal injuries to the pedestrian. Paramedics sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
No other injuries were reported in the accident. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate liability in the deadly crash that happened on Highway 24 in Orinda.
