Children Hurt After Car Plows Into Fallbrook Home
Fallbrook, CA (July 22, 2022) – Two juveniles suffered injuries following a suspected DUI crash that occurred on Winter Haven Road early Sunday morning.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a 19-year-old man was driving a Toyota Tacoma traveling in the streets of Fallbrook. When the Tacoma approached the area near Havencrest Drive, the 19-year-old allowed the vehicle to veered off the roadway. Earlier reports confirmed the Tacoma slammed into the front of a residential property.
Emergency crews arrived at the accident scene shortly after 2:40 a.m. Responding paramedics found two young children inside the house. The article published online confirmed the two juveniles–ages 5 and 9, were transported to Rady Children’s Hospital in Kearny Mesa for treatment and further evaluation.
DUI Suspect Arrested After Car Accident on Winter Haven Road
Officers said the driver of the Tacoma showed signs of intoxication during the investigation process. Police then arrested the suspected on suspicion of felony DUI and other charges. At this time, detectives continue to gather additional information on the car crash that happened on Winter Haven Road .
