1 Seriously Injured in Aguanga Crash at Highway 79 and Highway 371
AGUANGA, CA (August 12, 2022) – A crash seriously injured one person at Highway 79 and Highway 371 in Aguanga.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the incident on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:33 p.m.
The accident happened on August 9 when a vehicle and a motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Aguanga. Cal Fire said the two crashed at the intersection of Highway 79 and Highway 371.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one individual who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Highway 79 and Highway 371 to shut down after the wreck. The cause of the Aguanga crash is still under investigation.
