Fatal Traffic Collision at Van Buren Boulevard and Mockingbird Canyon
Riverside, CA (September 2, 2022) – Christopher Garcia, a 31-year-old man, died following a two-vehicle crash that occurred in the area of Van Buren Boulevard and Mockingbird Canyon.
According to My News LA, a motorcycle and a pickup collided into each other at the busy intersection in Riverside. Earlier reports indicated the accident took place Thursday at about 10:58 p.m.
Deadly Car Accident in Riverside
The California Highway Patrol officers responded to the crash site and found at least one person unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but the sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Authorities later identified the deceased as Christopher Garcia, of Riverside. It remained unclear whether the man was on the motorcycle or in the pickup when the horrible crash happened.
At this time, detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly collision that happened at Van Buren Boulevard and Mockingbird Canyon.
