Motorcyclist Injured in South San Francisco Crash at Westborough and Junipero Serra
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 11, 2022) – A crash injured a motorcyclist at Westborough and Junipero Serra boulevards in South San Francisco.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the incident last month on August 21. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:54 a.m. near the Interstate 280.
CHP said the motorcyclist and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in South San Francisco. The two crashed at the intersection of Westborough and Junipero Serra boulevards.
Wreck in Sierra Highlands
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the Sierra Highlands neighborhood. They then found the rider who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the victim to the San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the accident. The cause of the South San Francisco crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Westborough and Junipero Serra to shut down after the wreck.
