1 Killed in Mead Valley Crash on Clark Street Near Jean and Byron
MEAD VALLEY, CA (September 18, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person on Clark Street in Mead Valley.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:58 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Mead Valley near the city of Perris. They crashed at 18865 Clark Street between Jean and Byron streets.
2 Cars Collide
The CHP reported that a driver struck a gray Ford F-250 pickup truck which subsequently hit a black Toyota sedan. The Toyota then slammed into a utility pole in the area.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the report mentioned that an occupant the sedan bled from the head following the wreck.
Officers forced a stretch of Clark Street to shut down for a time after the incident. The cause of the fatal Mead Valley crash is still under investigation.
