Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Nevada City Crash at Highway 49 and Tyler Foote
NEVADA CITY, CA (September 25, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Highway 49 and Tyler Foote Road in Nevada City.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Sunday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:09 p.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Nevada City. The two crashed on Highway 49 at the intersection with Tyler Foote Road.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who complained of neck and back pain as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. Officers forced the area of Highway 49 and Tyler Foote Road to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Nevada City crash is still under investigation.
