At Least 2 Hospitalized After Collision Near Highway 137
Tulare, CA (November 9, 2022) – A traffic accident involving a Greyhound bus took place early Wednesday on Highway 99, the Fresno Bee News reported.
Our sources indicated the bus was carrying 23 passengers, and heading north on SR-99. When the bus approached the area near Highway 137, the 61-year-old operator crashed into the back of a big rig piggybacking two or three other tractors.
The force from the impact sent the Greyhound bus careening towards the direction of the center divider. Officials said the bus came to a rest after hitting the barrier.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to all parties involved in the wreck. According to the article published online, several passengers riding the bus suffered injuries as a result of the incident. At least two people were transported to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Authorities said the operator of the bus, and the driver of the big rig both appeared unharmed after the collision.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic crash that happened on Highway 99 in Tulare.
