Cyclist Hosptialized After Crash at Hearst and Euclid Avenue
Oakland, CA (November 15, 2022) – A male bicyclist suffered injuries following a traffic collision that occurred in the area of Hearst and Euclid Avenue.
Car Hits Bicyclist in Oakland Accident
The Daily Californian News reported a road accident took place at the intersection in Oakland Tuesday evening. When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a disabled car and a cyclist ejected from their bike.
Officials mentioned the crash happened at about 8 p.m.
Responding paramedics rendered aid to the bicyclist, and all the occupants in the car. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the cyclist sustained major trauma including injuries to their leg. Medical personnel decided to transfer the patient to Highland Hospital for treatment and evaluation. Pending confirmation, the name of the patient remained undisclosed.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic crash happened at Hearst and Euclid Avenue in Oakland.
