Bicycle Rider Edward Quinones, 48, Killed in Clearlake Crash on Boyles
CLEARLAKE, CA (January 24, 2023) – Bicycle rider Edward Quinones was killed after a crash on Boyles Avenue in Clearlake.
Police identified the 48-year-old Clearlake man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place last week on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Edward Quinones was riding a bicycle on Boyles Avenue in Clearlake. Police said for an unknown reason, a Toyota Tundra struck him.
Bicyclist Hit by Car
The car hit the bicyclist near 26th Avenue. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found him down on the ground as a result of the accident.
The Press Democrat and Lake County News wrote that the incident occurred on January 17 at about 5:45 p.m. Edward Quinones died at the scene of the crash.
Meanwhile, police soon arrested the driver of the Toyota for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. Officers forced a stretch of Boyles Avenue to shut down for a time following the collision.
