At Least 1 Killed in Collision at 4th and V Street
Bakersfield, CA (March 24, 2023) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of 4th and V Street Friday evening, March 24.
Man in Wheelchair Dies After Crash in Bakersfield
The KGET News reported a person using a wheelchair was struck by a vehicle at the intersection in Bakersfield. Officials believed the pedestrian attempted to cross the area of 4th and V. While in the roadway, a passing vehicle hit the man in a wheelchair. The force from the impact instantly killed the pedestrian. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the unfortunate event.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly crash happened at 4th and V Street in Bakersfield.
