Woman Injured After Tesla Crashed Into Riverside Church on Park Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 7, 2023) – One was hospitalized after a Tesla crashed into a church on Park Avenue in Riverside.
According to a report published by the On Scene TV, the accident took place on Thursday evening. Officers responded to the wreck on April 6 at around 7:53 p.m.
Police said a Tesla left the roadway for an unknown reason and crashed into the church in the city of Riverside. The church had a gathering of about 60 people conducting a Holy Thursday mass at the time.
The car plowed into the wall of Comunidad Dios Habla Hoy De La Renovacion Carismatica Catolica located at 4145 Park Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a woman inside the church hurt. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police questioned the male driver of the Tesla who stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers closed the church and shut down a stretch of Park Avenue after the accident.
The cause of the Riverside Tesla crash is still under investigation.
