Isaace Figueroa, 40, Killed in Apple Valley Crash on Highway 18
APPLE VALLEY, CA (May 15, 2023) – Isaace Figueroa was killed after a car crash on Highway 18 in Apple Valley.
The coroner’s office identified the 40-year-old Apple Valley man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Sunday.
The incident happened when Isaace Figueroa was driving a Toyota Camry on Highway 18 in Apple Valley. For an unknown reason, he collided with the rear of a silver Dodge Charger.
2 Cars Collide
Witnesses said the Toyota spun out of control and then rolled over near the Bear Valley Road cutoff. The Victor Valley News wrote that the collision occurred on May 14 at around 6 p.m.
Isaace Figueroa sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The report did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stayed following the accident. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Highway 18 to shut down for a time after the wreck.
The cause of the Apple Valley crash is still under investigation.
