1 Seriously Injured in Acampo Crash on Highway 99 Near Woodbridge
ACAMPO, CA (December 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 99 near Woodbridge Road in Acampo.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Friday night. According to CHP, officers reported the wreck at about 9:19 p.m.
The incident happened when a truck and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Acampo. The two crashed and rolled over on northbound Highway 99, just north of the Woodbridge Road on-ramp.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 99 to shut down near Woodbridge following the wreck. The cause of the Acampo crash is still under investigation.
