3-Vehicle Crash in Acton on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway
ACTON, Calif. (Aug. 8, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Monday on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Santiago Road in Acton.
The crash occurred about 7:16 a.m. on August 8th on the northbound 14 Freeway, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP dispatch report stated the drivers involved are a Tesla Model S, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck and a blue Mitsubishi Outlander. Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash, but there are no further details.
The vehicles blocked the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway
It’s unknown what led up to the collision, but the Tesla suffered major front and rear-end damage in the accident.
Tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
