2 Hospitalized After Collision Near Adelanto High School
Adelanto, CA (March 3, 2023) – Two people, including a juvenile, suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Aster Road and Joshua Street.
Auto vs. Quad Bike Crash in Adelanto
According to Victor Valley News Group, a 15-year-old male was riding a quad bike traveling west on Joshua Street. Earlier reports indicated the juvenile approached the intersection at Aster Road and failed to yield at the stop sign for an unknown reason. The quad entered the crossing at about the same time as a white Toyota Camry heading north on Aster. Officials said the two motor-vehicle crashed into each other, causing the teenager to be ejected from the Quad.
The collision took place on February 28, Tuesday, near Adelanto High School.
Shortly after 12:58 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the juvenile found suffering in major injuries. A helicopter airlifted the patient to a trauma center for further treatment.
Authorities added medical personnel also transported the driver of the Camry to the a local hospital. Pending confirmation, the conditions at this time of the injured parties remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. Give that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened at Aster Road and Joshua Street in Adelanto.
