Aleena Munoz, 21, Killed in Apple Valley Pedestrian Crash on Bear Valley Road
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 3, 2021) – Aleena Munoz was killed after a pedestrian crash on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley.
The coroner’s office identified the 21-year-old Victorville woman as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Friday.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck Aleena Munoz for an unknown reason in the city of Apple Valley. The driver hit her on Bear Valley Road, east of Mohawk Road.

Deputies said the accident occurred at about 2:40 a.m. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the woman down on the ground.
Aleena Munoz sustained serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident. Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the news release did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced a stretch of Bear Valley Road to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the Apple Valley pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
