Ali Shoker Ali, 18, Killed in North Sacramento Car Crash
NORTH SACRAMENTO, CA (May 22, 2021) – Ali Shoker Ali was killed after a car crash at National Drive and Striker Avenue in North Sacramento.
The County Coroner’s Office identified the 18-year-old Sacramento man as one of the two deceased victims in the wreck on Friday evening.
The incident happened when Ali Shoker Ali was riding as a passenger in a Mustang convertible in North Sacramento. The Mustang was traveling at a high rate of speed west on Striker Avenue.
At the same time, a Chevy Malibu was going around 50 mph north on National Drive. The convertible then ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck the Chevy.
Collision at National Drive and Striker Avenue
The California Highway Patrol said the Mustang rolled over as a result of the collision. Ali Shoker Ali and another back seat passenger ended up thrown from their car due to the impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and pronounced the ejected parties dead at the scene. CBS Sacramento and KCRA News wrote that the accident took place on May 21 at around 7:30 p.m.
The speeding driver and front passenger of the Mustang suffered major injuries. The three occupants of the Malibu, two women and a child, sustained minor injuries.
Medical personnel soon took all five patients to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the fatal North Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
